The path to federal vote for women in Mexico was a unique history to the Mexican Revolution. The nation was known as a great independent movement, which highly looking for economic modernization, and practice liberal ideals. Because they were lacked of education, Liberal was a big concerned for women and fear that women might harm and cause more problems to the progressive politics (Pablos 45, 60). The battle for the right to vote was only thought in England, Europe and United States. However, women in Mexico going through the same movement in 19th and 20th centuries. Their involvement in politics and economics opened the door of widening to the gender roles. Furthermore, the different generations leaders had different thought towards women equal rights. Altho ugh, many women in Mexico were elected to be working in office to represent the country, such as Governor, Congress, and so on. However, the accomplishments of that time event was not important, but it gave women in Mexico big opportunities to vote as well as work for the country. Women in Mexico went through differently for them to have the rights to vote or participate in men work. In the early time Mexican civilizations, in Mexico women enjoyed and be able to do certain legal and social advantages that United States or Europe women could not. On the another hand, women in Mexico Feminist Movement did not came about until later (Arrom, par. 8). They also have the rights to own property and be the headed households. Their heritages of the family was well divided to every members of the that live in the house. However, in the United States, Europe or England women could not have or own anything with out the husband or the father permission. Many women was fed up the ideal that men controlled them.
